Although devastated by his loss, Doug transformed his grief into something positive and developed B.R.A.K.E.S., whose mission is to recruit race car drivers, police officers and other high-performance driving experts to teach teens and their parents defensive driving techniques.
If you have teenagers, this event is a must attend. B.R.A.K.E.S. has instructed over 22,000 kids and a recent study from the University of North Carolina shows that teens who graduate the program are over 60 percent less likely to be involved in a car crash.
The talk takes place on December 18, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. in the Bruce Meyer Family Gallery, at The Petersen Automotive Museum – 6060 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036.
